Joyce Chen is a freelance illustrator based in Southern California who graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2020 with a BFA in Illustration.

Joyce is currently indulging in the colorful digital world- capturing storytelling, emotional depth, and visual effects in a single image. She draws inspiration from action packed moments in both the real world and animation/games, transforming that energy into striking illustrations.

Aside from working digitally, Joyce also enjoys creating with traditional mediums ranging from oil painting to printmaking.
